Mitochondria are the energy “powerhouses” of our cells. They are the foundation of cellular energy (ATP) production and homeostasis. Mitochondria are also involved in beta oxidation of fatty acids and metabolism of amino acids, lipids, cholesterol, steroids, and nucleotides. However, mitochondrial function can be disrupted by various factors, including poor nutrition, environmental toxins, oxidative damage, and aging. Mitochondrial dysfunction is associated with cardiovascular disease, chronic fatigue, cancer, diabetes, and other issues.

Ojas Powerhouse is a potent blend of vitamins, antioxidants and enzymes formulated to support mitochondrial health and function.

Ingredient Highlights

Alpha lipoic acid (ALA)

  • Needed for energy metabolism (ATP production)
  • Antioxidant and may help regenerate other antioxidants such as vitamin E and glutathione
  • May have a preventative effect on mitochondrial aging

Coenzyme Q10 (PQ10)

  • Essential for mitochondrial function
  • Powerful antioxidant

Carnitine

  • Required for mitochondria to use fatty acids in energy (ATP) production
  • May have a preventative effect on mitochondrial aging
  • In combination with ALA, may repair damaged mitochondria

Great

This has really helped my energy. Don't like the price tag though, one star off for that.

Take it in the morning

This is great for energy in the morning. I think 3 times a day is too much, I just take 1 in the morning and I feel it just fine.
